Technology
Reverse Sensing System
E-Series offers the convenience of an optional Reverse Sensing
System. The System alerts the driver to closing distance when
slowly backing toward an object (rear step or contour bumpers
required).
AdvanceTrac® with RSC®
E-350 Regular and Extended Length Wagons equipped with the
5.4L engine and 3.73 rear axle feature standard AdvanceTrac®
with RSC® (Roll Stability Control), the same stability
enhancement system in Ford's Explorer and Expedition
SUVs.
TorqShift™ transmission
The durable TorqShift™ 5-speed automatic transmission is
engineered to handle the demanding loads of the optional 6.0L
Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel. It uses direct electronic shift
control in unison with the powertrain control module to precisely
manage power delivery in any driving circumstance.
TorqShift™ can also be teamed with the optional 6.8L
Triton® V10 in van models.
